Facebook, Tumblr, Multiply, Twitter, Friendster. Those are just some of the example of social networking sites that you may have encountered on the world wide web. Social networking sites are ways for us to communicate, update and rant stuffs. Many people are registering and patronizing this kind of sites. I can say that in the present time, many social networking sites are arising and social networking is starting to be one of the uses of internet. It’s like people use the internet just to check and update their online profile, play FarmVille and whatsoever and online users increases daily.

In the past, during the times when computers were first invented. People use it to computers to do paper works, send messages to others and I think to save files too. Those are the time when technology is not yet that developed unlike now. Now, we have advance technology and our generation is still progressing. Our technology keeps on advancing and advancing and that is good. In terms of the social networking sites issues, I think it is just okay because it also helps people. Like in a family, if a parent is abroad or if someone is abroad, through networking sites, they would be able to communicate and catch up with each other without even using money.
